Continued layout of Robot Proper
My basic approach to this new site is to provide you with a quick means to get what information you are after quickly. Robots are everywhere. However they can be divided by their primary mission directive. This blog will have individual tabs that represent that division of labor. "Eyes in the Sky" will deal with our military's increasing dependence on UAV and land based robots to keep soldiers out of harms way. "The Final Frontier" will focus on the works of NASA and private contractors to supplement manned missions to space with androids and other roving bots. "I, Robot" will relate closer to home by reporting on the infiltration of 'bots into our daily lives. Finally, for now, "Rosie the Robot" will deal with industrial robots and their use in manufacturing.

The beginning of the end
I "Stumble"d around the internet the other day and discovered Blogger. I landed on several blogs created from the tool dealing with cooking, travel, and monetary interests. This lead me to think that there could be need for a blog representing the interests of engineers interested in medical, industrial and militarized robots.
This is the beginning. Look in the next couple days as the dust begins to settle and I learn how to fully utilize the Blogger tool.
